We're a Dortmund-based group built around two engineering practices: research-driven chemical engineering — formulation, plant design, and process work for industrial clients — and custom IT and software for industrial and B2B operations. Alongside that we run chemical trade, textile trade, import and export, and a Pakistani and Indian kitchen, all from the same small office.

Five businesses, one team.

Mahir UG was set up in Dortmund in 2022. We run five different businesses today — chemistry, two trading lines, import and export, and our restaurant — but everything is managed by the same small team in one office.

However different the work looks from the outside, the way we treat people stays the same. Whether you're asking about a chemical formulation, a fabric order, or a table for Sunday brunch, you reach the same group of people, and you get the same care.
