A small group, running five businesses out of Dortmund.
Mahir UG was started in Dortmund in 2022. Today we run businesses across chemicals, trade, textiles, international goods, and gastronomy — all from the same office, under the same management.
The idea behind the group was straightforward: run a small number of focused businesses well, rather than one large business stretched thin. That way each line gets proper attention, and finance, administration, and oversight all sit in one place.
Today we run a chemical research and engineering practice, a chemical trading desk, a textile trading line, an import and export operation, and a Pakistani and Indian kitchen under the Zaiqa Spices name. Each business has its own customers and its own rhythm, but the group as a whole is run by the same small team.
This site is our main front door. A few of the businesses already have their own sites — the restaurant, for instance — and others will get theirs in time. Until then, the pages here cover everything you need to get in touch.
How we got here.
Founded in Dortmund
The company is registered at AG Dortmund (HRB 35302) and the first lines of business start running.
Gastronomy launched
Zaiqa Spices opens its doors in Dortmund.
Trade lines expanded
The chemical and textile trading lines grow.
Umbrella site planned
We start working on a shared identity for the group and commission this site.

Founded the company in 2022 and runs it day to day. Oversees all five businesses and is the first point of contact for anything that crosses between them.
